- Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2015My workout is mostly cardio and these earphones work perfectly for me. I do running and rowing in a gym and outside and I'm pretty happy with the fit and the sound quality.
Fit: the default Apple earbuds almost fit me but they fall out randomly. This pair fits me perfectly, even slight tugs on the chord are not a problem. For example I dropped my phone two times while running and both times the earphones stayed in place and rather the phone and the chord disconnected to let the phone go.
Sound quality: For sport earphones I'm pretty happy with what I get. Categories better than the other sports pair I have. In silent surroundings I would put the quality in line with the Apple earbuds.
I've seen some very helpful reviews with three major concerns, let me address those.
Ambient noise: Yes, these earphones don't filter outside noise a lot which I like very much as it makes them safer for running outside and I even feel better this way in the pretty silent gym I frequent. I don't like to lose touch with my surroundings.
Cord tangling: Actually, I find this material pretty easy to untangle. It is a lot better than the all-rubber ones. With this one you just hold on to the middle fob, shake the thing a bit and most of the untangling is done!
The rubber coating on the ear-pieces does get gross a bit, but with a wet finger you can wipe them clean enough for my taste. And actually, this won't be the most gross piece on you after a good workout anyway:)
- Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2013Stays in your ears incredibly well--I've done long, intensive workouts and they've never budged.
They have the sound quality, however, of dollar store earbuds.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2013While these are not the same sound quality as some of the higher-end brands of headphones, they're as good as any earbuds I've tried. More importantly (to me), they stay in your ears no matter what you do. You can get these caught on a doorknob and have a pretty hard jerk on the cord, and they will not fall out! Very important when working around the house.
Other thing that's important to me is comfort. I must have small ears, because all earbuds that I've tried just hurt! And they fall out because I can't wedge them into my ear canals. These are comfy. No earaches after falling asleep with them in.
Side note. They've actually saved my phone a couple of times! Because they are so secure and comfy in my ears, when my phone fell out of my pocket and was on the verge of smashing on the tile floor, it was brought up short by the earphone cord. They stayed in my ears, and my phone landed safely. :)
- Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2014Fit, sound and appearance are all fine and there are no complaints there. They stay in your ears really well and are not uncomfortable at all. Great for a quick trip to the gym, or other air-conditioned workouts. Here's the catch, the mic is not waterproof. On my first run outside on a warm sunny day (6 miles) my music kept switching/stopping and my voice control kept activating/deactivating somehow. Having had this problem with other high-end/audiophile (read:high maintenance and sensitive) ear buds in the past, I figured I would tape them with waterproof tape before my next run. The second run (6.9mi) they had the same problem. Sweat wicked into the mic/control switch despite being taped. Not only did my music stop multiple times, my running app got paused due to the mic/control switch going haywire so i lost the data from that exercise :(
In summary, these are fine earbuds for light exercise or for cool environments or maybe skiing? But dont expect to sweat while wearing them without serious device failure. Would not buy again.
What's funny is that I bought a pair of earbuds from the hospital gift shop for like $6 and although they look and feel cheap, they have never failed due to sweat. Go figure.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2014I have had these for about a month and feel like it is time to write a review. The best way to think of these headphones is to think of the buds separately from the headphones.
The rubbery bit that fits in your ear and makes them different is great. As many reviewers have noted, they are secure, do not come out, and do let in outside noise (a requirement for me for outdoor running in the city). There is a bit more wind noise as a result of the shape of the bud, but that is a consequence of this choice (I do not like the ones that fit in the ear/fill the ear to block sound). If you have a set of ear buds that you want to "convert" to sports use, the bud itself would do the trick.
As for the headphones themselves, I find them to be only ok for sound in sports use. I agree with those saying that the mid range is pretty muddy. The high end is pretty good and the low end is a little too bass-like for my taste. That muddy middle is what makes me less than fully pleased.
But as sports headphones, the cloth-covered cord makes them quite noisy with rubbing and banging. The Y-cord is too long for my height (5'5") and I find it difficult to clip on.
So for the price, the buds are great and stay in place and the headphones are mediocre. I might try using the bud on the Sansa headphones that came with the Clip, converting them to "sports" use or might just live with their ok-ness. I live overseas and had them carried out to me. I will confess that I might otherwise have tried to return them.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2015These are literally the only ear buds that will stay in my ears. If you have had bad luck with the others, try these. They are also very good quality. They get a decent amount of sound, but you can still hear your surroundings somewhat, which make them excellent gym buds. I also like the Kevlar cord... they do tangle somewhat, put not as bad as the rubber type cords. They are way easier to untangle. I do want to mention, the ear pieces come in various sizes. So, if they hurt your ear, you obviously need a smaller size. I've owned a couple of pairs since they first came out. I will say they are extremely durable. Most of my buds I buy last less then six months, even the expensive ones I buy. So the fact that I've made it a couple of years before replacement amazed me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sie halten wirklich

4.0 out of 5 stars they stay in but get waxy
I have tried many ear phones and I think my ears are not shaped right for regular ones, they always fall out - nevermind whilst jogging but when just walking. These ones actually do stay in and have stayed in sometimes when I accidently yank the wire. On that basis very good - the 4 stars are because they do need adjusting now and again to keep the twist twisted - and when you take them out make sure there aren't any people around who would be offended by ear wax. Very long use I have found causing some uncomfort but overall I like them and would recommend

2.0 out of 5 stars the sound quality is poor for the price and the material they use for ...
ok, they stay in my ears reasonably well, but after that they're disappointing. the sound quality is poor for the price and the material they use for the chord means they rustle a lot when running. i'll be investing in a replacement pair when i get enough money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Verblüffend gut.
