Google+, Microsoft Security Essential Success Story, IE10 Platform Preview – HT034

So Jim thought it was show 33!  Not so.  Show #34 bring Jim, Christian and Bill together to discuss the ins and outs of Google+, a deal of the week and some unusual tools for BBQ smokers.  Andrew was a bit under the weather and celebrating his birthday. Happy Birthday Andrew.  With Andrew out, Jim is on the show notes.

We kick off the show with a the latest and greatest to hit the Internet from the guys over at Google, being Google+.  What does the service mean for the average guy? Will people use Hangouts?   What does it mean for Facebook?  Will people switch?  Circles?  Will this fix the list problem?

As well as the launch of Google+, Google have also made some seemingly minor, but significant changes to the look and feel of Gmail, as well as the search page that we are all so familiar with.  You’ll notice that there is now a black navigation bar across the top of your Google search windows, with shortcuts to Google tools such as Gmail, Calendar, Google Maps, Google Images,  News, and Video, all starting with your +Name.  The new look and feel can be seen throughout all of the Google Applications – check it out over at www.google.com
