Jim Collison is known for hosting various podcasts related to technology, community building, and personal development. He is the host of the Gallup Called to Coach podcast, Theme Thursday, and the CliftonStrengths Podcast. These podcasts focus on strengths-based development and coaching using Gallup’s CliftonStrengths assessment.

Jim is also involved in the “Home Gadget Geeks” (found right here) podcast, where he discusses various technology-related topics, including gadgets, home automation, and other tech trends. Additionally, he co-hosts Ask the Podcast Coach with David Jackson from the School of Podcasting.

Jim Collison has a background in technology and has been recognized for his contributions, being a former Microsoft MVP for Windows Home Server and Windows. He graduated from Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska, and has been working at Gallup since July 24, 2007. Before joining Gallup, he worked for Commercial Federal Bank, Computer Renaissance, and Omnium Worldwide.

Jim’s CliftonStrengths are Arranger, Woo, Maximizer, Communication, and Activator. He is currently living in Bellevue, Nebraska, and has been married for 35 years with five children. Jim Collison also has a military background, having served in the US Army from 1986 to 1992, with stations in Schweinfurt, Germany, and Fort Ord, California. He moved to Nebraska in 1992.

Apart from his professional life, Jim is actively involved in farming Chia, a form of cryptocurrency. He has a strong interest in technology and cryptocurrency topics, reflecting his diverse experiences and expertise.
