I know I’m the minority when I say stuff like this, but you guys chit-chat way too much before the meat of the show. I was at the 9 minute mark when I was about to shut off the podcast and unsubscribe. But I didn’t. Held on. Good show after though.
Justin – I’m not sure if you are in the minority or not as others have said this to me before. I just got done listening to the Podcasters Roundtable and one of the items they talked about was just this. I am always torn in this subject. I like a community podcast were people have time to get to know the hosts. Yet, I know that people listen for heart of the podcast. It’s always the introductions that make it long. I will think of some ways to shorten that up and get right to it. Thanks for the feedback!

I understand. I’m a bit harsh when it comes to podcasts. I go through the Zune Marketplace, looking for new podcasts, absorbing them, and when things go wrong, I spit ’em out quick. I would then go on and destroy them on the review part of Zune, which no longer exists AND I think I was the ONLY one reviewing them there, LOL. iTunes has too many users 😉 Regardless, I like the show, just need to shorten up the intros.
You are welcome to stay along with us as long as you like and when it’s time to go, thanks for coming. I have always said, I would podcast even if no one ever listens. I do it for the joy, not the numbers. The community, not the reviews. We are trying to build a friendly community here. Love to have you be a part of it.
Cool, then go to http://colecoadam.wordpress.com for some good vintage tech 😉
I do like some of the vintage tech you are into. @[845360192:2048:John Zajdler] busted out some of his equipment just last year during one of the group discussions during CES. He still has a bunch of it. Not sure any of it works, but he has it! Watch it here: http://theaverageguy.tv/2012/12/30/the-average-guy-and-ces-2013-live-coverage/#more-3899
I was a Timex Sinclair guy myself and I wish now that I had held on to my TX1000! Kept it for about 10 years and then let it go. It was a real beast!
