So You Wanna Watch More College Football? Use ESPN360 and Window Media Center to Light It Up!

In my post 20 mile run recovery, I decided to watch some College Football!  Here is a screen shot from my PC.  Using ESPN360.com and Windows Media Center with a cable card, I can stream 3 football games all at once.  I had UCLA v Stanford (upper left), Florida St. v Boston College (upper right) and Washington v ND (bottom left).  To make matters worse, I added two laptops to the mix! Yep, you are seeing it right.  I am watching 5 games all at the same time!  Besides the ones above, I added Western Michigan v Northern Illinois (left)

Omaha Half Marathon : Jim’s Official Results 1:54:53 and Commentary on the Race – Link to All Race Results As Well!

The official results are in and I couldn’t be more happy with my time.  It’s not a PR ([spp-timestamp time="1:53"] in the Papillion Half) but the Omaha Half was just supposed to be a training race for the Kansas City Full on October 16th.  I’ll take it! The Omaha Marathon doesn’t have the best reputation with runners here in Omaha.  Some say it’s too hilly.  Other say it’s not supported well by the community.  Others complain about the lack of organization.  All could be true. The course does give you some elevation, although not as much as you might think.  I

Omaha Corporate Cup 2009 – Early Results

This year’s Omaha Corporate Cup was the second largest in it’s history and featured nearly 100 folks from Gallup!  Nice job Gallup.       The incredible trainers at Gallup, Ryan (his blog) and Jamie, did a great job this year of getting people moving and preparing for the race.  Numbers were up from the 60 that ran it last year.  Congratulations to the both of them. Amazon vs iTunes? For Digital Music, I Almost Always Buy Music From Amazon!

It’s all about the price, isn’t it?  If you are still buying music from iTunes (and millions still are)…consider this.  Disclaimer: I purchase mostly Christian music, but the deals are good for most genres.  I do not own music from or make any money from either of these two artists, even if you purchase them from Amazon. To the left are two projects from two up and coming artists, Britt Nicole and Aaron Shust.  At iTunes, together they would cost me almost $18. Below at Amazon I can get both for just $10. Same music, better price.  It’s that simple.
