It was great to catch up with Addy.  The last time she joined us we had a great conversation.  Find it at https://theaverageguy.tv/2014/10/12/addy-saucedo-from-modern-vintage-radio-talks-podcasting-audio-gear-and-diy-video-surveillance-setup-hgg187/

Addy caught us up on the last time she was on the program and had hard drive issues.  We talked about backups.

My Top 2 Cloud back up services are:

http://crashplan.com and http://acronis.com.  If you are looking for some great media storage, I use http://mediafire.com

We talked about listening to Audio Books at 2x speed.  Addy brings up the new Overcast at https://overcast.fm/ as a alternate player for the Podcasts app on the iPhone.

Jim mentions that some are using Pocket Casts from http://www.shiftyjelly.com/pocketcasts .  He also has been using BeyondPod at http://www.beyondpod.mobi/android/index.htm

Add mentions that she is now podcasting for http://www.audiobooks.com/ which provides a great experience for listening to Audio Books.

Addy also recommends the book Ready Player One – http://amzn.to/1jLCuor

Addy mentions some seriously sweet and expensive earbuds that are new to the market.  You can find them at http://www.bragi.com/.  They are a new addition to the fitness market with ability to listen to music, track workouts and communicate via your phone.  They can also let ambient sound both in and out.  They also have 4GB of storage and a very small space.  They also monitor heart rate.  The case is also a battery charger and gets up to 5 charges at a time.  The batteries last up to 4 hours

Mike is looking at getting a new Casper Bed from https://casper.com/ and mentioned that he is using a rechargeable batteries that have USB charging.  I found a pair on Amazon like them at http://amzn.to/1QEFUUO

Jim mentions a battery Sleeve that helps get more power out of each battery.  https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/batteriser-extend-battery-life-by-up-to-8x#/
