Jim Collison: The Average Guy

Jim is a technology manager at Gallup Inc. in Omaha NE, where he oversees some of the Oracle and Microsoft platforms as well as the staff that supports them.

He serves on the Gallup Federal Credit Union Board and is the Chair for the Heartland OUG which was reestablished in 2009. He has been a Windows Home Server enthusiast since 2007 and was named a Microsoft MVP in April 2011 for his work in the WHS community.

He podcasts right here and for the Home Server Show on most Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM Central time.

Andrew Morris: Home Tech Podcast

photowalkingAndrew is a Service Delivery Consultant for HP Enterprise Services, in Melbourne, Australia, where he is a member of, and provides support to a team of Microsoft support engineers supporting clients of HP.

Andrew considers himself a specialized generalist, having provided enterprise level support to  every release of Microsoft Windows, several variants of Linux, Unix and the IBM AS/400.  He likes to describe himself as Mac-curious, and would like to add Mac skills to his repertoire one day.

In addition to a strong interest in technology, Andrew also enjoys cooking the family meal each night, fishing, digital photography, cycling and skiing (both water and downhill) and has recently began taking an interest in developing a more regular exercise regime.

Andrew is married, and he and his wife have a 17 year old cat, who seems to have an opinion on everything, and a tank full of tropical fish, who rarely offer an opinion, even if they have one.

Christian Johnson: Home Tech Podcast

Christian is a network administrator and software developer for Maplegrove Partners LLC, where he writes software in C# programming language and designs ASP.NET websites and web applications. Currently residing in New York, Christian continues to help small businesses and developer/enthusiast communities while maintaining his own websites including http://bios-mods.com. A Windows Home Server enthusiast since its release, Christian has been active in supporting the community and releasing WHS Addins.

In his spare time, Christian enjoys playing his violin, and pursuing his academic endeavors. His philosophy, don’t let age hold you back from achieving more.

The mission and purpose of Guide Rock is a product of Andrew’s customer service orientation and unique business experience as an entrepreneur. He is responsible for comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services at Guide Rock Capital as well as consumer lending and asset management at Gallup FCU. Andrew holds a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University. Gordon Schmidt: Home Tech Podcast

R178-1Gordon is a Technical Architect at Cargill Inc. in Minneapolis, MN where he works with a variety of different computer languages, integrations and applications. At home Gordon enjoys spending time with his family. When the house is quiet and all are sleeping Gordon enjoys learning about new technologies and working on creating a web application add-in for Windows Home Server 2011.

Growing up on an Angus Beef farm in South Dakota has taught Gordon to have a great work ethic and an ambitious life. During College Gordon worked as a carpenter and then on an Investment Wealth Management Team before moving to the Information Technology cosmos at Cargill Inc..

John Zajdler: Home Tech Podcast

aka DieHard over at the HomeServerShow.com, Montreal, Canada.  John started with Vic 20 and Commodore 64. He always likes tinkering with computers. Hardware & Software hacks. Past 4 computers have been Shuttles. He got the Media Smart server as soon as it came out because he  kept messing up the computers with my hacks.  His main focus now is getting movies & TV collection onto the MSS and view with the Popcorn Hour.
