First Race for 2010 – 28th Annual Groundhog Run, KC – January 31st

Believed to be the biggest organized run in America which takes place completely underground, the Groundhog Run will take place at the Hunt Midwest Subtropolis. Hunt Midwest has partnered with Children’s TLC to hold the run since its inception, and the Subtropolis provides an ideal venue for competitive running in the cold Kansas City winter! WHS Health Add-In with the Palm Pre / Pixi (For the Window Home Server)

The newly released add-in for the Windows Home Server (more info at The Home Server Show or MediaSmart Server.net) from Nigel Wilks and Alex Kuretz, which was primarily developed to render the health status of your Windows Home Server on an iPhone or iPod Touch, has an additional benefit!  Maybe only for me? I was installing it tonight and testing it on my Touch when it occurred to me that I should be able to get this working nicely on my Palm Pre.  Sure enough, it looked great!  I’ve included some photos below. Office 2010 Beta Available for Public Download

          If you haven’t heard, Microsoft has released a beta version of Office 2010 for the general public.  In the past, these kinds of events were not always available to the masses but over the last several years, Microsoft has made better by letting more people test.  A good example of this was the Windows 7 beta.
