Winters AfternoonIn an article from Business Insider, Facebook Is More Popular And Growing Faster Than Google Search.  Surprisingly, Facebook makes up just over 10% of current internet traffic.  The Average Guy has a Facebook site over at https://www.facebook.com/groups/theaverageguy/

The guys spend a few minutes looking back at internet firsts.  Seems like we always get a history lesson when Make and Rich join the show!

All 3 of the guys now have a USB Yeti Blue Microphones and they are not afraid to show them.  If you are a podcaster or thinking of podcasting, the Yeti Blue is the industry standard!  You could have only seen them LIVE!  Join us each Thursday night, 7pC/8pE over at http://theAverageGuy.tv

Roku 2 XS 1080p Streaming PlayerRich recently purchased a Roku 2 XS 1080p Streaming Player.  The guys spent a considerable amount of time talking about media devices including the Nintendo Wii, Western Digital WD Live TV Streaming Media Player and the Xbox 360.  They also brought up the Play On service and using over the air HD as well as the every 4th podcast discussion about Netflix.

Rich is a big believer in Best Buy’s 30 day return policy.  If you are shopping at Christmas and didn’t get just the right gift, keep that in mind.  Mike also encourages Jim to purchase an Amazon Prime subscription for the 100th time!

If you listen to the Financial Tech Podcast, Jim talks about the purchase of some Kindle Fires for the Gallup Federal Credit Union.  You can find that podcast here if you want to hear about it from Andrew Hunt.  Rich questions the speed of the device and gives his opinion.

Mike has a new PC build going at the moment and has the parts laying out all over a table in his office.  By the way, it’s running at the same time.  Again, if you missed the live video, you missed the visual.  Bummer for you.  Mike also talked about how he reuses all of his computer parts.  It’s interesting.

Somehow, the leadership over at Olympus has been hiding a billion dollars worth of losses over the last 10 years and has now been caught.  More info on this story here. It’s a sad story.

Mike talks some about this camera set up and what he prefers to shoot with.
